The network for History of Science and Medicine in Edinburgh (HoSMEd) is a community of researchers and curators engaged in the historical study of science, technology and medicine.
It includes people from a wide range of university departments (Archaeology; Edinburgh College of Art; Geography; History; Science, Technology and Innovation Studies; Veterinary Medicine; the Medical School), and from many local collections and libraries (the National Museum of Scotland, the Lothian Health Archive, the Cockburn Geological Museum, the Instrument Museums’ collection, the Anatomical Museum, the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh).
