Huawei Lab Workshop

The first Huawei Lab Workshop of 2021 will be held  from the 14th to 16th of June

(mornings in Edinburgh, late afternoon China)

The Huawei lab June workshop is the forum for researchers to share findings from their Huawei-sponsored research project through discussion, posters and reports. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of experts, research leaders and individual researchers from academia and industry.

Please reserve the dates now and please remember that we will want revised  reports and posters from Huawei-sponsored PIs in advance of the meeting.

Workshop format

Due to the uncertainty surrounding coronavirus restrictions, the workshop will be, as before, virtual. It will be attended by researchers from Huawei, Edinburgh and elsewhere.

Links to workshop sessions and their materials will be sent to you as we get closer to the start of the event.

Call for speakers and suggestions

We would like to ensure that the workshop works well for all of its attendees so, thinking of lessons learned from the December workshop, we would welcome your suggestions for changes to the format or contents of the workshop.

If you have, in addition to your poster, a talk that you would like to give, please send us a brief abstract  indicating, in particular, why it would be of interest to a general audience of researchers from Huawei and Edinburgh.

Deadlines

Please send suggestions for the workshop and talk proposals as soon as possible.

Reports and posters should be with us no later than 3 weeks before the start of the workshop, on  24/5/2021

Please send all information to both Gordon Winton and Peter Buneman
