A new year and a new find!

Happy new year! With this new year, a new term begins. Going into the new year, I do not normally set any resolutions, yet this time I have!

If you frequent the HCA often enough, you will have seen the mysterious cabinets in the tutorial rooms. What do they store? Is it the secret to obtaining a first-class degree?

My resolution was to get to know the secret of these cabinets and lo and behold, I did it! What did I find? Books upon books upon books! Wonderful news!

One particular find was a selection of books that detail the history of Scottish Law and these can be found in room 01M.27.

If the room you wish to use or search for books in is locked, then you can pick up the keys to both the room and the cabinets from the Student Research Room Co-ordinator, Clare Wilson, who is situated in the office by the entrance of the building! Go get a key and hunt for the perfect book for your research.

Happy hunting!

Christy (Student Research Room Volunteer)
