Discussion and news from the Enterprise Architecture (EA) service

UCISA EA “Architecture Exchange” programme

The UCISA Enterprise Architecture group has started a series of meetings to share best practice, with the long-term aim of establishing a “new to EA” training resource.  The first round of these “Architecture Exchange” meetings was last week, and future sessions will run monthly starting in May.

I was glad to contribute to one of last week’s webinars, on the topic of how to set up and manage an Enterprise Architecture practice.  The session was titled “Architecture Capability Management”, and was led by Alan Cecchini of Newcastle University.  Alan gave an excellent overview, with links to several resources, and I followed up with a quick history of our experience at Edinburgh as another example to add to Alan’s.

All the March sessions have been recorded and are available to members of the UCISA EA Group.
