Welcome to the School of Engineering blog!

The School of Engineering Blog is a place where our students, staff and alumni can write about their experiences, learning and successes as members of our engineering community.

The blog will help different people – whether prospective students across the world and their parents; alumni; current and potential industry partners; the wider University community; and the general public – learn more about what life in our School is like, while also raising awareness of the latest exciting projects and research we are working on – and the impact these will have.

For example, it might help prospective students get an authentic insight into what it’s like to study with us; current students can share tips on how to make the most of their time studying at Edinburgh; academics can use it to raise awareness of their latest teaching or research projects; alumni can write about their journeys since they left us.
