Physics Education: A Female Gaze

Physics Education: A Female Gaze

Women's underrepresentation in physics and what education has to do with it

Theory

Don’t worry, you can skip the theory and jump right into any of the project parts if you like. For those who are interested in diving deeper into theoretical considerations, this section provides a framework for my research. It includes

  • a discussion of the ‘female gaze’ – where the term comes from, what it means and how we can apply it to physics education
  • information on the methodology of narratives and fictions in education research, as used in the first podcast episode in Voices
  • the theoretical foundation of Futures Studies for our foresight work in Visions

Intrigued?

You can always come back here later, too!
