Inaugural Event: 26th April 4pm on campus – all welcome

Edinburgh Academics for Academic Freedom will hold an inaugural discussion event on Tuesday April 26th 4.00-5.30 in the Laidlaw Room, Chrystal Macmillan Building.

Come and join us to discuss academic freedom at the University of Edinburgh and beyond. What does academic freedom mean to you? What does it look like in practice? What are the threats, and where do they come from? What do we need to do to protect academic freedom?

Some of the founder members of Edinburgh AFAF will have short discussion openers to share, and then the floor will be open to everyone. All students and staff are welcome: please book via Eventbrite:
