As philosophers, our responses to the renaming of the David Hume Tower vary widely, as do the responses of the wider academic community. On January 22nd, there was an online panel discussion on the renaming of David Hume Tower at the University of Edinburgh. The panelists were Prof. Tommy Curry, Prof. Thomas Ahnert, Dr. Mazviita Chirimuuta, and Prof. Sir Tom Devine. A recording of the event can be found below.
