Just Transition

Just Transition Commission

The Just Transition Commission is an independent advisory body that provides scrutiny and advice on how to deliver a just transition to a low carbon economy in Scotland.

Over recent years the Commission has focussed on a people and place-based approach, aimed at better understanding the lived experiences of the transition to net zero in different communities across Scotland, and to inform our advice to government on delivering a just transition at national, regional and local scales. The below briefing reports are a result of these discussions. Thank you to all the stakeholders who provided such in-depth and honest views.
