- Niamh facilitating
- Apologies: Rufus, Ruairidh, Chawon, Shereen
- We did some exercises thinking about how we work in groups – individual questionnaire about how you work (what kind of person you are in a group) and how to deal with other types of people in a group
- Skills audit: What skills do you bring? What skills/knowledge would you like/need to learn for the projects? What do you enjoy doing? What would you like to work on as a member in a group
- We go over “outline of commitments for the course”
- We need to post answers to questions about expectations for the course for the university
- We agree to have everyone submit something reflective about the course by January 5th, feedback by January 14th
- No word length but just be aware that people giving feedback should not have to spend too long on that
- Response to pieces, not ‘feedback’ – nothing is graded; the responses not graded either
- Reflection pieces can be on any aspect of the course, take any form – the reflection exercise itself is about process
- Discussed how we’re going to divide into groups
- Discussing whether or not we should minute each group project meeting – some for, some against
- Could have a sub-page for each group on the WordPress where we could post minutes / summary / documents / etc. as a resource for others in other groups and who would take the class in the future – Sophia will make these
- Take interesting/engaging notes!
- We move into cluster groups to talk more about the group projects
