Counselling and Wellbeing Services

Counselling and Wellbeing Services are available through our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with MCL Medics.
Our EAP provides up to 6 free, short term, solution focussed counselling sessions and is available to all staff, plus partners or dependants over the age of 18 and living in the same household. The EAP can help with the following types of support:

  • Bereavement counselling
  • Life management: divorce, relationships
  • Debt management, legal and financial advice
  • Support for managers
  • Care advice
  • Stress management
  • Daily living support

MCL Medics are bound by the professional code of ethics of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and the Employee Assistance Professionals Association. You can speak to a counsellor about a personal or work-related problem that may be impacting your job, health and mental wellbeing.
