We are thrilled to announce that Cairnlytics, the new spin-out from the Edinburgh Decentralisation Index (EDI), has achieved two massive milestones! We have successfully completed Phase 1 of the prestigious CyberASAP (Cyber Security Academic Startup Accelerator Programme) and have been awarded a place to proceed to Phase 2. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, we’ve also secured a coveted spot on the Venture Builder Incubator (VBI) 6.0 at the University of Edinburgh’s Bayes Centre.
Onwards and Upwards with CyberASAP
Our journey through CyberASAP so far has been incredible. Phase 1 was an intensive period of market validation and value proposition refinement. We’ve had the opportunity to connect with industry experts, potential customers, and seasoned entrepreneurs who have provided invaluable feedback on our mission to enhance software supply chain resilience. Being selected for Phase 2 is a tremendous vote of confidence in our technology and our team. This next stage will focus on building a minimum viable product and developing a robust commercialisation strategy. We are eager to continue working with the CyberASAP team and our mentors to bring Cairnlytics to the market.
Building the Future with VBI 6.0
Joining the sixth cohort of the Venture Builder Incubator is another significant step forward for us. The VBI is renowned for its world-class mentorship, access to a vast network of investors and partners, and a curriculum designed to transform deep-tech research into thriving businesses. This five-month program will provide us with the essential skills and support needed to navigate the startup world with confidence. We are particularly excited about the opportunity to collaborate with other innovative startups in the cohort and learn from the best in the business.
What’s Next for Cairnlytics?
These achievements mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Cairnlytics. With the combined support of CyberASAP and the Venture Builder Incubator, we are in a stronger position than ever to tackle the critical challenges of software supply chain security. Our goal remains to provide organisations with a non-intrusive, data-driven approach to assessing open-source risk, and we are more motivated than ever to make this a reality.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey so far. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to grow and develop!
