QSig: A Gateway to the Future

The QSig (Quantum Signatures) workshop, hosted by Prof. Aggelos Kiayias and Justin Drake, took place at the School of Informatics on January 26th, 2024. The event gathered over 50 attendees from academia and industry, including notable figures from the Ethereum community, the Cardano community, Input Output Global (IOG), NTT Research, and 20squares.

The workshop focused on advancing quantum-enhanced protocols in financial technology, covering topics such as one-shot signatures and quantum cryptography. It provided a platform for fruitful discussions and collaboration among experts in the field.

The event concluded successfully, with plans for future follow-up events. For those who are interested in delving into the discussions and insights shared during the workshop, recordings of some of the talks are available on our BTL YouTube channel. Presentation slides can be accessed on the QSig event page on the BTL website. We extend our gratitude to all speakers and participants for their valuable contributions.
