The teams work enables the services provided by other Application functions.
Are there any upcoming projects the team is excited about?
The Oracle 23ai & Linux 9 upgrade. This a key technology infrastructure upgrade which enables the provision of powerful, secure and stable applications for the University.
Are there any favourite topics of discussion among the Team (i.e., pets, food, travel, etc)?
Christmas and the Christmas party are a favorite topic of conversation just now, as you would expect. I am also new to the organisation so the team have been very kind to recommend many excellent places to get cakes, buy coffee and have lunch close to the office, which I am slowly working my way through.
Has there ever been a strange/funny moment on a virtual meeting that is still remembered?
In the short time I have been here the most embarrassing moment was the new manager not being able to connect to the team meeting on his first day.
If the Team were a song/TV show/film show, what would they be?
The Great Escape as we are a mix of the best of British and American and we know how to get ourselves out of a tight spot.
Are there any special/hidden talents members of the Team have (if so, what are they)?
Making pumpkin pie the way it should be made.
If you could take a guess, how many cups of tea/coffee/hot chocolate does the Team get through on an average day?
That depends on how many projects in the portfolio are Red.
