Recognising TestRail for Software Testing

To promote TestRail for tracking and managing Applications software testing, new resources and guidance will be produced to promote awareness and usage across ISG.

TestRail is an online test case management tool that helps those involvement in software testing to manage, track, and organise their projects. While it is used at the University, a new project is in place to help spread awareness of how it can support project management, promoting its future usage.

Following previous projects that developed the understanding and potential of a user testing service in IS Applications, this new project will direct and promote TestRail specifically. By analysing how it fits into current frameworks and methodologies, TestRail will be promoted in the most efficient way possible, ensuring that it is used to its full potential. This will be primarily through the development and advertising of various training and guidance resources available to all.
