The UK Collaborating Centre on Injury and Illness Prevention in Sport (UKCCIIS) is an IOC Research Centre and part of the global research network on injury and illness prevention in sport and athlete health protection.
In the run-up to the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games, UKCCIIS’s inaugural conference will bring together sports injury and illness prevention researchers, sport scientists, sport and exercise medicine doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and wider health professionals to network and engage with speakers and renowned experts in sports injury and illness prevention research. The event will provide delegates with the most up-to-date research, providing new insights into sports injury prevention research from world-leading experts across numerous summer and winter Olympic sports.
