About Me – Transnational Sowa Rigpa between Europe and South Asia

Hi, my name is Patricia and I am a medical anthropologist and doctoral student în Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh. This blog introduces my current research project on transnational Sowa Rigpa [Tibetan medical] practice and provides some audio-visual glimpses of everyday Tibetan medical realities as experienced in some South Asian and European settings. And I hope that in this way I can capture some of the diversity and current changes and stimulate interest in this fascinating practice.
