Survey prize draw – Terms and Conditions

By submitting your entry and by entering the survey prize draw you agree to the following rules:

  1. To enter into the survey prize draw you need to complete the survey in full and submit a valid email address at the end of the survey in ‘Section V: About you’. Entry is limited to one single entry per person. Duplicate entries will be invalid. Entry made via a third party (including by use of an automated service) is not permitted and an entry sent in this way will not be valid.
  2. Entry restrictions: The competition is only open to individuals aged 18 or over. Participants must be involved in the livestock sector in some way, e.g. student, researcher, veterinarian, farmer, producer, processor, etc. 
  3. The promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason at her absolute discretion.
  4. The prize draw is open to entrants from the 17th June 2021 to the 15th July 2021 inclusive. All entries must be received within this time and by midnight on 15th July 2021.
  5. Prize: There will be one unique winner of a £100 gift card and one unique winner of a £50 gift card from the completed entries. The winners will be selected completely at random from the entrants. The choice of gift card will be selected in a discussion between the winner and the promoter. However, the final decision will be with the promoter. 
  6. The prize is exactly as described. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.
  7. The promoter will not be responsible for the non-receipt of any entry and cannot be held liable for system failures on the website or for any failure by third parties to fulfil their obligations or for any acts or omissions outside the control of the promoter although the promoter will endeavour to minimise the effect of any such failure.
  8. The winner will be notified by email within ten weeks of the prize draw closing date.
  9. In the event that winners do not reply to their winning notice within two weeks then the prize will be redrawn to an alternative winner.
  10. The promoter reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions at any time or to withdraw the survey prize draw altogether for reasons beyond the promoter’s reasonable control.
  11. The promoter’s decision is final in connection with all matters arising from the survey prize draw and no correspondence will be entered into. The promoter accepts no responsibility, liability or any consequences whatsoever for participating in the prize draw or the prize offered in relation to the prize draw.

By submitting your entry and by entering the interview prize draw you agree to the following rules:

  1. To enter into the interview prize draw you need to complete the survey in full, select ‘yes’ to ‘Would you be willing to participate in a short 30 minute online interview?’ in ‘Section V: About you’ and submit a valid email address. The promoter, at their discretion, will select a handful of participants to participate in the interviews and the prize draw winner will be selected from one participant who completes an interview.
  2. Entry restrictions: The competition is only open to individuals aged 18 or over. Participants must be involved in the livestock sector in some way, e.g. student, researcher, veterinarian, farmer, producer, processor, etc.
