Malibongwe Gwele

Malibongwe Gwele is a researcher at the Children’s Institute, University of Cape Town. He holds master’s in social science with the University of Cape Town. He has over 13 years’ experience working in ECD research, focus on applied and evaluation research projects. This involved evidence base research on early childhood care and education as well as conducting evaluation research that seek to measure outcomes of programmes and intervention for young children.  His research interest is on ECD policy and programming, local and indigenous knowledge: perspectives and practices in the early years more especially in non-centre-based programmes.
