Linda Biersteker is part of the University of Cape Town, Children’s Institute  team on the SIPP project.  She is a developmental psychologist and adult educator with extensive research, training, policy development and programming experience in the early childhood development sector in South Africa, and internationally especially in Africa.  Her current focus is on improving the quality of early learning programmes and measuring their effectiveness and understanding how best to deliver safe, inclusive and participatory learning and teaching for young children in difficult circumstances.
