Regarding the name of the team, I came up with Interwoven Perspectives/CurateLab.
“Interwoven” represents the intersection of knowledge systems, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the deep entanglement between art, space, and social issues. Through our exhibition practice, we aim to highlight how different cultures, histories, and personal experiences weave together, forming new narratives beyond a single, dominant art history.
Curating should not be confined to a singular perspective—instead, it should embrace diversity. We seek to challenge traditional curatorial frameworks, reinterpreting artworks through the dynamic experiences of diverse audiences. Our goal is to dismantle centralized power structures in art institutions, amplifying the voices that have long been marginalized.
Interwoven Perspectives is not just a theme; it is a curatorial methodology—one that fosters open dialogue, where different perceptions, histories, and artistic expressions converge to create a more inclusive, multi-layered art experience.
Simultaneously, this process is an experiment in collaboration—as a team from different disciplines, we refine our curatorial approach through continuous discussion, idea exchange, and collective learning. This spirit of exploration is what inspired the name CurateLab, a space where curatorial concepts are tested, reshaped, and expanded.
