WEEK(FLEXIBLE) RESPONSE TO WEEK4 PEER REVIEWS

Responses from two peers, week4.

Thank you both so much for your generous and thoughtful feedback on my curatorial proposal—it truly means a lot and has given me fresh perspective on how to further develop and refine the project.
I was particularly encouraged that the immersive parts of the exhibition resonated with you, especially the use of AR, projection and sound installations. Your support affirmed my belief that myths become stronger when they are experienced rather than simply displayed. The suggestion to ensure a more coherent narrative flow for the Myth Quest Trail struck a chord with me. I had originally envisioned the trail as a series of separate mythology-themed stations, but your feedback has inspired me to explore a more interconnected structure. I’m now considering designing the trail as a journey——like arc, with each station not only highlighting a different story, but also moving towards a larger narrative. Going to rely on the full story narrative to strengthen the connections between the different pieces. Perhaps tying them together through a symbolic shift or mythological adventure.
The point about sustainability is also well-taken. As I incorporate digital technologies like AR and projection mapping, I’ll begin to evaluate their environmental impact more closely. I appreciate the reminder to align the exhibition’s technical aspects with the natural values of Helix Park, and I plan to look into energy——efficient equipment, reusability of materials, and even nature-powered elements where possible.
Your feedback on community engagement has also convinced me that this is an important part of the proposal. I am now even more motivated to work with local artists, schools and storytellers, not only in terms of organizing workshops, but also in defining the content of the exhibitions——allowing for co-creation and deepening the connection to the local area.
