The lecture in the fourth week made me understand some of the preparation work before the exhibition, such as the cost, transportation and communication with the artist. We can only see the content of the works in the exhibition, but we can’t see how an exhibition is planned, but the work before the exhibition is also a very important part.

Exhibition Viewing Sharing

I went to talbot rice gallery on Tuesday to see an exhibition called personal accounts by Gabrielle Goliath. The exhibition uses a combination of TV and text to amplify the trauma of victims of domestic and social violence, clearly showing their anguished faces, shaking hands and helpless sighs on the screen. It can be said that the whole exhibition is particularly depressing, and the sighs and sobs of the victims in the dark room are one after another, as if the visitors can also deeply feel the great pressure and pain they are under. I think this is a particularly successful exhibition because we can feel from the point of view of the victims, we can empathize with them.
