Should a 98% corporation tax be introduced for companies which primarily utilise AI for the purpose of generating profit, or helping others to generate profit? My project will investigate the implications of this policy proposal, arguing in favour of this rather radical measure.

1.4 Reflect on the ethical norms, values, principles or theories that will inform their approach to the intervention

With respect to my current idea for my Futures Project (a proposal to increase corporation tax for AI companies to 98%), the ethical risks are minimal. The predominant sources of information employed for this research encompass economic, political, technological, and ethical materials, all of which inherently pose low ethical risks.
