Key Words

When I search for materials, I directly searched for “educational inequality”, but there were very few effective contents. I’ve realized that the content discussing educational inequality is explicitly tagged with “education” or “inequality.” Many are framed under themes like “inspirational stories,” “rural girls’ success,” or “female empowerment.” I think such a positive energy word is encouraging, but to discuss a problem or to reveal a plight of a group, we must see its suffering, which is what the media and platforms lack now.  This is also a subtle and concrete manifestation of a woman’s interests being ignored.

I need to use more abstract keywords and pay attention to both trending narratives and marginal voices, which gives me a fuller picture of the discourse landscape in further research.
