Comparative Case Studies
My chosen research method is online interview and data analysis, and I think there is another research method that is also very practical: Comparative Case Studies, which compares the challenges and successful experiences of women’s education in different regions or cultural environments. For example, we could choose at least two regions with significant differences, one representing a successful case (rich in educational resources and open in cultural concepts) and the other representing a challenging case (insufficient in resources and conservative in gender concepts). The difference depends on the direction I work on. Analyze the differences in educational policy, cultural background and use of technology, and find the key influencing factors.
Using this method, we can summarize the replicable experience under different conditions and provide empirical support for policy recommendations. The limitation, however, is that it is a little difficult to find two areas with similarities but significant differences according to our research findings.
