Clea Tammes is a publicist in filmmaking. The role of the publicist consists of creating a public image of the product and, thus its marketing and reputation.
Publicists operate with the project’s social media and engage in creating content that will promote the film. They also distribute trailers, posters and different sorts of promotions to get the information about the project as visible as possible. They also engage with journalists to get the project into the media and visible to the masses.
In conclusion, a publicist is someone who makes the project visible and advertises the film.
