After your supervisor meeting – How are you moving forward with this feedback and what are the next steps?

I had some preliminary ideas about my project through the meeting with my mentor. First of all, I will focus my project on the taxation of robots in China, which needs a large amount of literature as the basis, rather than tending to the technical or questionnaire direction.

At this stage, I tend to focus my thesis on the following topics. First, it explains the necessity of taxing robots in China from the concept field, and discusses the concept of tax subject from the ethical perspective. Second, from the perspective of ethics, discuss the impact of taxing robots on different groups of people, such as comparing the different effects on different age groups, young people and old people. What are the ethical implications for different populations? Third, I can also try to compare with the existing tax system. For example, it is compared with the tax policy of high-tech industry and the consumption tax policy of luxury goods. Fourth, learn from existing national robot taxation policies, such as the United States. What ethical implications would it have if applied to China?

Next, I should read a lot of literature. Because the topics discussed above do not necessarily have enough literature to support my discussion. I need to build the paper framework on the basis of literature support.
