Preparation for 1st Supervisor Meeting: Breakdown of Conceptual Intention
In beginning this semester and in preparation for my 1st supervisor meeting, I decided to breakdown my previous post – “From Broad Curiosities to a Broad Idea”. I did this for a couple of reasons, firstly, because after several years of further education I have finally come to the realisation that I am quite a visual learner and thinker… Better late than never huh! Therefore, I’ve begun to use Miro (an online tool) to visual my workings.
Secondly, due to the first reason, the tool has helped me begin to narrow down the scope of my research based on the various points I have previously mentioned. The idea with this, is that it will help me explain to my supervisor what I’m trying to do with my research and clearly show where more work is needed. Below is the visual breakdown.
