About
The Poetics Research Group addresses research on poets, poetry, and poetic methods, across all historical periods, and encompassing both literary critical and creative work. We are especially interested in the potential for cross-pollination between periods, languages, and disciplines, and in the relations between poetic theory and practice.
Convenors: Alex Freer (afreer@ed.ac.uk) and Tim Milnes.
We’re keen to hear from interested researchers engaging with any aspect of poetry and poetics in any language, including poets, literary critics, philosophers, linguists, musicologists, educators, and others.
