Welcome to the inaugural University of Edinburgh Nursing Postgraduate research festival. Whether you’re a student, a nurse or midwife interested in research, or someone starting your Ph.D. journey this September, you’re welcome to join us on Wednesday the 29th of May at the University of Edinburgh or online.
The purpose of this event is to showcase the PGR Nursing research being carried out at the University of Edinburgh, offer nurses and midwives interested in a PhD to share their ideas for feedback, and contribute to a nursing research network in Scotland.

09:30 – 10:00 Tea and Coffee Networking Session:
The conference kicks off with a warm welcome and an opportunity for in-person delegates to mingle over tea and coffee. It’s a chance to connect with fellow attendees and build valuable networks.
10:00 – 12:00 PGR Student Research Presentations in person
Join us as current PGR students take the stage to share their research projects in 5 minute oral presentations.
12:00 Online presentations
Join us to for the online presentations from PGR students and researchers.
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch and Networking:
Enjoy a light lunch while networking. Share ideas, collaborate, and forge new connections.
All are welcome to join the afternoon presentations from the College of Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Applied Social Science, followed by the PGR & Pizza networking event at 17:00.
