I am a first year PhD student with the SENSE CDT in Edinburgh.
My research will focus on building machine learning models combining data from novel remote sensor technologies – including ESA Copernicus’ Sentinel-2, as well as ground-based variables to assist in the upscaling of the spatiotemporal resolution of agricultural livestock populations with a view to better greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions monitoring and famine prevention, with a focus on East Africa.
I am supervised by Drs Bruce Worton, Gary Watmough and Alan Duncan in Edinburgh, Dr Timothy Robinson at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Dr Andy Challinor in Leeds
