Japanese language education for Scottish schools

Japan Foundation funded project: Promoting Japanese language and culture to Scottish secondary school pupils by hybrid Japanese language tuition through a Scottish eLearning system and in-person teaching.

After the successful first Japanese language taster course in October to December 2023, we will run the second one from 17th January 2024. We will also be able to offer a succession course from the end of February, thanks to esgoil! See the course details here.

Online Beginners’ Japanese for secondary school students on esgoil   The first online Japanese language taster session for the secondary school students will start from 1st November. The information session will be held on Wednesday 4th October 2023. See the course details here.    

Visit to Orkney   Visiting local schools like the one in Orkney will give us a valuable insight into Japanese language education in Scottish school environment, and offering a taster language tuition session to their pupils itself will work as a good promotional tool for Japanese language and culture there.
