Macs in Informatics – the sequel

Back in August in a post entitled Macs in Informatics I asked for views on, well, Macs in Informatics, but specifically on configuring them to access DICE services, and whether we should look at trying to provide some sort of automated help with that configuration.

I had an excellent response – thank you very much, I’m really grateful – and after going through the responses and giving it all some thought, I managed to drag together the resulting thoughts into a report which you can read here.

No decision has yet been taken on what to do next, but I hope you find the report interesting.
