Hello and welcome to my blog!

I’m Gearóid Brennan. I’ve been a Clinical Fellow in Nursing Studies at the University of Edinburgh since September 2019. I’m also in the end stages of my PhD!

I’m using this blog to write about my experiences as an early career academic and about some of the projects that I’m involved in. These are namely;

  • My PhD project
  • My Florence Nightingale Foundation travel scholarship

I might also write about various other nursing issues and hobby horses of mine.
