Thanks to a request from staff in Classics the Library now has access to Vetus Latina Database from Brepols. This is an online index to all Greek and Latin patristic citations or allusions to the pre-Vulgate editions of the Bible, collected by the Vetus Latina Institut in Beuron, Germany.

Thanks to recommendations from members of staff and requests via RAB from students the Library is continually adding new books to its collections both online and in print. I’m very pleased to let you know that following a request from staff in Classics the Library now has a subscription to the Oxford Classical Dictionary (online) from Oxford University Press.
The Oxford Classical Dictionary is seen as one of the leading resources for online research in Classics and contains over 6,000 full-text articles from the 4th Edition, with new and updated articles added each month.

The Library has recently purchased access to the e-book collection Classical and Ancient Near Eastern Studies 2015 from the publishers DeGruyter, which gives us access to over 80 titles from 2015.
All of the e-books from the collection can be accessed individually via DiscoverEd.
