Proposals should be no longer than four single spaced pages and be accompanied by two letters of recommendation.  The proposal should include a publication plan that demonstrates the significance of the proposed research in the field.

The Fellow will be expected to make an initial presentation to National Archives staff and local historians concerning the proposed plan of work and a second presentation on research findings in the first quarter of 2012.  Candidates are encouraged to consult with the enter for Legislative Archives staff in developing their proposal at legislative.archives@nara.gov. Please put 'Fellowship Inquiry' in the subject line.
