Call for Papers: Possessio ac iura in re: history of the real law, Krakow, May 2011

Call for Papers:

International conference Possessio ac iura in re: History of the Real Law, 6–8 May 2011.

The event is organised by employers, Ph. D. students and members of the Student Learned Society of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University.

The Society would like to invite young researchers of law and the history of law: graduate students, Ph. D. students and Ph. D. graduates. An application of 300 words (including methodology and bibliography) for a 20 minute presentation should be submitted by 18 February 2011 and should include a short summary of the main theses. Texts for publishing must not exceed the length of 20,000 characters. Two languages will be used during the conference: Polish and English. The conference papers will be published in an edited book.

Participants will be provided with full accommodation and  meals during the conference.  (In case of self-provided accommodation the organisers will help participants with finding a hotel or a hostel.)
