Course and programme design workshops

ELDeR is a practical, team-based approach to learning design. It involves an intensive, collaborative workshop, at the end of which the academic team goes away with a detailed blueprint of the learning design and a comprehensive action plan. It is jointly led by facilitators from the Institute of Academic Development and Information Services.

Practical Strategies are short workshops linked to different aspects of learning and teaching, which are run by the Institute for Academic Development. The ambition is that staff will leave with a set of practical suggestions and ideas that they can implement in their own teaching practice. Workshop topics include: introduction to course design, embedding sustainability in the curriculum, designing out plagiarism, and introduction to reflection in teaching.
