This is how we do it…
These images give an idea of the process for computer numerical control (CNC) cutting timber joinery into large engineered wood products. Here a dovetail joint is cut with a cross-laminated timber (CLT) mortise and a laminated veneer lumber (LVL) tenon, to create a test specimen to investigate the strength of the connection and how it fails.
