Edinburgh Cast Collection is hosting Museums Galleries Scotland’s Emergency Planning Course: for museum staff and volunteers responsible for emergency planning in their organisations

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will:

• Recognise the importance of emergency planning in museums.
• Establish what’s involved in preventing emergency situations.
• Understand the procedures and kit required for effective emergency response.
• Know how to develop an Overview Emergency Plan relevant to your organization.
• Be aware of the requirements for emergency planning in Accreditation.
