My role at the University has evolved constantly since I started here in 2017, mostly because of my enthusiasm for pursuing project work and funding. The challenge of this is that I don’t always fit into the institution’s structures. This blog is a place where I’m going to stop trying to fit my ideas into those structures and share them more freely.
I’ll write about my projects from time to time, but it’s going to be more personal here that it is in the other places I appear. I’ll also welcome collaborators – things are always more interesting with more heads.
The feature image also alludes to my Borders connections – I live a short walk from Abbotsford and go there all the time. The study is a wonderful space where you can easily imagine Scott sitting and letting his imagination flow. Whilst my environment is slightly more pedestrian, I hope this will be a mental space which creates a similar effect for me.
