September Monthly Staff Series: Digital Strategy

Hello readers! Here we are with the September edition of the monthly staff series, hearing from Digital Strategy…
Digital Strategy!

What does Digital Strategy do?

We are responsible for developing, implementing, reporting on and updating the University Digital Strategy. We also run the Digital Estate programme which governs the University’s major Digital investments.

How does this work connect with other Application sections?

The Digital Strategy will be implemented to a large extent by the other departments in Apps and its really important that we work closely together to support each other in this. We work extensively together on business cases for new investments, reporting on progress and resolving issues.

Are there any upcoming projects the team is excited about?

Yes. We are just about to start the rollout of the Digital Strategy after its recent approval by the University so really excited to be moving on to implementation after a long time developing the Strategy.

In a sentence what makes Information Services Group Portfolio great?

We really want to add value to ISG and bring clarity and attention to the good work on Digital at the University. We feel we work really well with a wide range of people at the University.
