Webinar: Socio-Cultural Risk Factors for Abuse in Religious Contexts by Dr Sarah Harvey (INFORM)

When: 1-2pm, Friday 28th March 2025 via Zoom

In this webinar, we will be hearing from Dr Sarah Harvey, Senior Research Officer at INFORM, about research that she undertook for our project analysing social and cultural factors within faith communities that may be associated with greater risks of abuse. Whilst drawing primarily on data relating to new and minority religious movements, the framework developed by Sarah has potential relevance to a much wider range of religious settings and has relevance to understanding and responding to abuse in religious contexts for a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
