Study Skills Consultations
The IAD offers 30-minute one-to-one consultations with a study development adviser. They can help you develop effective study strategies and enhance current skills. Bookings for Semester 2 have just started, and new appointments open weekly.
This structured internship programme, Employ.ed on Campus, is in collaboration with a range of University of Edinburgh departments. The programme is for 2nd, 3rd and penultimate year undergraduate students of any School.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, your internship may take place remotely rather than on campus. The Careers Service have resources available to help you make the most of these high-quality work experiences.
Graduate Writing Centre Appointments
The Graduate Writing Centre appointments are returning at the start of February and will run to the end of March.
English Language Education (ELE) offers one-to-one academic writing tutorials for all postgraduate students (PGT and PGR). These online sessions are approximately 45 minutes long and are designed to give you the opportunity to discuss specific areas of academic writing with an English for Academic Purposes expert.
All Taught Students
The Chaplaincy is a safe and welcoming service for people of all faiths and none. The team offers a variety of events throughout the semester, including weekly classes and meetings, annual events and special occasions.
Digital Skills Programme Semester 2
The Digital Skills and Training team help to develop the digital and information literacy, desktop and IT productivity skills of University staff and students to help them work, research and study more effectively and to support continuing professional development.

LGBT+ History Month
LGBT+ History Month is an opportunity to celebrate and commemorate the individuals and events which have shaped LGBT+ communities, as well as our collective history.
Student Experience Grants
The Student Experience Grants are one-off contributions of up to £5,000 to support innovative projects and initiatives that will enhance students’ social, academic, entrepreneurial, sporting or cultural development.
Deadline for submissions is at 12 noon on 11 February 2021.
