…from the UK/ studies Sport & Recreation Management / 2nd Year (UG)

My name is Hugh Braidwood and I am a second-year student at the University of Edinburgh Studying Sport and Recreation Management BSc.  I am a keen sportsman and enjoy taking parts in all sorts of extra-curricular activities such as learning photography, volunteering and becoming a member of the committee in the University sailing club.

I was attracted to Edinburgh for many reasons, one being the reputation and standard of the University.  I am someone who gets cabin fever easily and must get out to explore new places and the surroundings of Edinburgh City, the countryside around it meets my needs above and beyond – I cannot think of anywhere with more going on or more to see than where I am now.  I will be studying here for at least four years, yet I don’t think that will be sufficient time to discover every hidden gem there is in and around this marvellous city.
