Week5

In this week, it’s about translating works from 2D in to 3D. From the collage as the starts of the lesson, instead of drawing with material, it requires combination of different 2D materials sticking and forming in to another body shape. I did a portrait and a body of women lying on the sofa in my first two collage using the colored paper and cutting parts from the magazine.

in the second part, I tried to developed the collage further in to the assemblage. It is also a transition of 2D in to 3D work. I choose the material—fabric and wires to reprise the the shadow, light and outline of the portrait.
