Parklands on the edge of Musselburgh in East Lothian, Scotland. (Next to Newhailes State)
These images are Google Earth 3D representations of the site I’m working. The satellite images and aerial photography were taken years ago, and some housing complexes are not visible on the map because they the houses had not been built yet. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify that the site looks different now. The field is now overgrown, completely covered by weed. Wild plants have erased all those lines drawn across the field, and during the summer, wildflowers grow all over the place. So the green and tidy appearance on the pictures were probably crops, but no one is working this land currently. The flagpole fixed to the ground, amid a dense layer of stems and short weeds.
