During this week I was able to work on my feedback from my formative submission. I was very satisfied with the detailed feedback received from my work. The great thing about these changes is that they were small mistakes that I could change with ease. Some of these changes consisted of deleting lines or making sure that the doors are drawn correctly. I redrew the doors making sure that the door swing was made up of a 1/4 of a circle and instead of just drawing a line for the door I drew a rectangle.
What’s more some of the additional feedback consisted of incorporating my case study research into the submission. I submitted a photo of this in my Week 3 blog. Im glad that my tutors are aware that I have been using other softwares, by doing so it has allowed me to learn new techniques, features and also extrapolate knowledge learnt from one program and applying it to others.
One of the most important pieces of feedback I have received so far is that I need to ensure that I submit all the necessary entries . As I do have a tendency to try and include other additional knowledge without answering the key features of the course.
I feel that I have learnt a lot of the features and knowledge necessary to developing my skills on auto-cad and I am aware of different auto-cad concepts that we get taught throughout the weeks, whether that be when it comes to drawing or plotting my designs. I look forward to developing my investigations further in the weeks to come.
We also learnt the fundamentals of Sketchup, such as how to navigate the interface and create different layouts. I found that watching sketchup tutorials combined with the lectures to be beneficial.
