3: TRANSFORMATIVE PROCESSES

The first transformative process I carried out was to create a rubbing of  this object, capturing texture and external detail in a crude and robust image.

I then attached this false self on to the true self, merging two aspects of being to create a symbiosis

I attached other discarded materials to this object, unifying disparate shards of waste.

De-odorizing is a human ritual of cleansing, purging ourselves of undesirable scent. In applying this to my previously scent-less conglomerate of discarded material, it is brought present in an additional dimension.

2: SUBJUGATE

I decided that I must use force to bring this object under control and to prepare it for the transformative processes. This did not change its physical body but broke its spirit.

1: LOCATE SUBJECT

I found this old york 0.5kg plate outside on the floor, disgarded and neglected, I dont know how it got there, but already this felt like an interesting start to a narrative.
